General Topics
1. Times or scores that are submitted for being accepted in any of the rankings should have been achieved by playing a randomly chosen game of Solitaire or Spider Solitaire. That's MY PERSONAL INTENTION of how to play solitaire, and that's the reason for the next sentences.
2. No cheats are allowed to get those scores. The following measures are taken as cheats:
- using the "time trick" of setting the system clock back and submitting a score of a practised game.
- using the change-drawing-mode trick to claim a score that wasn't achieved by playing completely with the claimed drawing mode.
- submitting a time that was done while the system clock was running slower than real-time by running parallely several RAM-intensive programs or doing similar things
- using any kind of self-solving program
3. No cheating is any of the following:
- [Solitaire 2000/XP] of course using Ctrl-A or right mouse to put all suiting cards up to the decks
- pressing F2 as long as the game seems to look nice
- using a special mouse with programmable buttons
Everyone is free to accept these rules. As unofficial internet rankings are mainly based on honesty, I hope that all listed scores and times fulfil those rules.
These rules are valid from now on. Normally, I must trust in the honesty of a player who submits anything. So, if anyone is lucky by getting into the top10 with cheated scores, I detest that but the person will remain on the lists until he admit that his scores aren't "real". If any listed score was done by using any of the cheats listed above, the corresponding player is free to say something and to replace the score by a corrected one.
